Rachel St. Moritz, formerly community relations and events manager at the 100 Club of Arizona, is IABC Phoenix’s Volunteer of the Year for the 2011-12 board year, which recently concluded.
Rachel, an Arizona State University graduate with a degree in public relations and media strategy, joined IABC Phoenix in 2009. After becoming a member, Rachel was actively involved as a volunteer on various committees, including the chapter’s social media and Network Night planning committees. In 2011-12, Rachel served as Director of Professional Development and assisted with monthly luncheons.
Rachel was unanimously selected as Volunteer of the Year by the IABC Phoenix board of directors. “Rachel has a great attitude and exemplifies the ideal IABC Phoenix volunteer,” said Past President Cory Craft. “Whatever was needed, Rachel was always eager and willing to help. She has been an invaluable member of the team.”
In addition to helping identify topics and speakers for the chapter’s monthly professional development luncheons, she created the luncheon one-sheet that provides a snapshot view of upcoming events and was the smiling face that cheerfully greeted and registered guests at the luncheons.
Thank you, Rachel, for your service to IABC Phoenix and congratulations on your award!
