Essential Responsibilities:

• Develop strategies, communications plans, campaigns and messaging
• Pitch and press release writing
• Manage day to day activities for client campaigns
• Manage and build media lists
• Maintain client accounts
• Generate media coverage for clients
• Client Communication including conference calls
• Create and maintain professional relationships with media contacts
• Develop and maintain client reports

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations or related field
• Media relations experience
• Proven track record of securing high profile mainstream media coverage
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Strong communication skills
• Detail and results oriented
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Flexible with ability to manage multiple projects with demanding deadlines
• Strong proficiency in Cision are beneficial.
