Bart Butler is a writer and communications advisor. He provides communications consulting and business writing to a variety of clients, including APS, Arizona’s largest electric utility; Wendy’s; PetSmart Charities; Longboard Mutual Funds, MxSecure, a national electronic health records provider, and the VA Healthcare system. He writes and produces content for corporate websites and intranets, blogs, media releases, annual reports, marketing materials and executive presentations. His specialty is creating personal profiles that tell a company’s story through the eyes of its customers, employees and leaders.
Trudy Thompson Rice has a unique background both as a nurse and a journalist, having received dual degrees in Nursing and Journalism from the University of Texas according to Trudy, “a million years ago.” She has worked in the clinical field as an RN, a reporter, a medical writer a public information officer and as the Chief Information Officer for the American Red Cross, Grand Canyon chapter. She was a “trailing spouse” when her then-husband, a radiologist, moved to Phoenix and her first contact in town was IABC, where she developed many long-lasting friendships.
