The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for working with the Brand Managers to develop and implement grassroots, promotional, community events, advertising and public relations initiatives to support the fresh dairy and extended shelf life business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Work with Brand Managers and outside agencies in event planning and consumer promotions Responsible for the planning and implementation of all marketing events and consumer promotions (including weekend events) Coordinate all consumer communication materials Coordinate media deliveries in conjunction with new product announcements. Implementation of Grass roots activities and community and consumer initiatives Work with Brand Managers on all advertising and Public Relations elements including broadcast, print, outdoor, online, direct mail, media events, releases, consumer promotions and events Work with Brand Management team on Shamrock Farms sponsorships and strategic partnerships Work with Sales team on customer programs and initiatives by providing in-store POS, collateral, fliers, signage, demos, etc. Coordination of Shamrock Farms website content Assist with consumer relations as needed: 888 Roxie phone line, Internet, community donations, etc. Coordination of In-store sampling efforts by providing demo supplies to the vendor and information on the program to Sales and Marketing Coordinate print production for various collateral materials, coupons, banners, etc. Development of employee communications programs to promote Shamrock Farms throughout the organization including events and updates Help maximize marketing opportunities with Shamrock Farms Farm Tour venue to support brand sales and consumer loyalty Serve as administrative support for the Dairy Marketing department to include: light data entry, invoice tracking, periodical and competitive tracking, inventory management of dairy marketing materials as well as product pick ups and shipping Serve as the “duty expert” on the consumer packaged goods websites and provide updates on a regular basis regarding the status of the industry Serve as a facilitator for industry (MilkPEP) activities As Marketing Coordinator you may be required to be the “Roxie” mascot inclusive of wearing the costume at various company sponsored events
Job Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE BS degree; marketing preferred 1 to 3 years experience in events/promotions, marketing, advertising, public relations or related field. Microsoft Office including Work, Excel, PowerPoint skills May be required to drive a Shamrock Marketing vehicle or pull the Roxie trailer, clean driving record.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Work with Brand Managers on all advertising and Public Relations elements including broadcast, print, outdoor, on-line, direct mail, media events, releases, consumer promotions and events. Coordination and implementation of consumer promotions and events throughout the year (including weekend events). Employee communications Coordination of Shamrock Farms website content. Development of employee communications programs to promote Shamrock Farms throughout the organization including events and updates
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
