<p>The Social Media Specialist reports into the Aerospace Global Communications Group, a worldwide team that spans public relations, employee communications and marketing communications (advertising, web, events, digital, et al). <p>Responsibilities:</p>

<li>Acting like a daily news “reporter” – you will seek, simplify and then tell Honeywell Aerospace stories, facts and news every day externally via approved social media sites such as You Tube, Google+, Blogs, Twitter, and many others that exist or will soon be invented.</li>
<li>Assist communication leaders with crisis communications as necessary.</li>
<li>Integrate social media efforts in larger PR, Marcom and employee communications campaigns.</li>
<li>Research, educate and propose new or emerging types of online media opportunities to team leaders.</li>
<li>Assist the department with measurement and analytics.</li>
<li>Build and expand our online audiences and followers as they relate to key customers, partners, employees and media.</li>
<li>Engage in online conversations via executive involvement or approved individual responses.</li>

<p>Basic Qualifications:</p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in journalism, mass communications, marketing or related discipline required</li>
<li>Minimum 2 years of experience in social media, journalism and/or communications required</li>
<li>Must be authorized to work in the U.S. due to government data</li>
