Call for Entries:
IABC/Tucson Announces 2008 Cactus Quill Awards Competition

Tucson, Arizona – February 19, 2008 – It's time to celebrate the best of Southern Arizona communications! The Tucson chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC/Tucson) announces the call for entries in the Seventh Annual Cactus Quill Awards competition.

IABC/Tucson's Cactus Quill Awards program, which recognizes best practices and media in the region, is open to everyone in Arizona involved in business communications. In addition to a trophy and showcase of work at the Awards dinner, entrants receive constructive comments about their submission from business communications professionals in other states who served as judges.

Application fees are reduced for early birds submitting application by March 21, 2008. Final deadline for submitting entries is March 28, 2008. The Awards ceremony showcasing the winners will be held June 5, 2008.

This year's Awards program seeks entries in the following categories: Community Relations, Media Relations, Multi-audience Communications, New Brand Communications, Electronic & Digital Communications, Audiovisual, Publications, Writing, Publication Design, Other Graphic Design, and Photography.
