Award of Excellence Communications and Public Affairs Team A Year in Safety SCF Arizona
As a leading advocate of workplace safety, SCF Arizona always is looking for ways to spread the message of how to keep job sites safe, because companies that maintain great safety records reduce their costs of workers' compensation insurance. Creating a calendar that focused on workplace safety issues seemed like a good relationship tool to remind the more than 56,000 policyholders that attention to safety is a year-round concern. To be successful, the calendar had to be something policyholders would like to keep and use. It had to be artistic and relevant. The 2007 A Year in Safety calendar addressed 12 distinct safety issues with dynamic, environmental photos.
