SCF Arizona's value-add 2007 A Year in Safety calendar is a relationship tool that was sent to all the more than 56,000 policyholders SCF covers. The calendar served as a reminder that attention to safety should not end at the end of the work day; attention to safety should be maintained every day, week and month at work, home and play. The theme, “2007 A Year in Safety,” reinforces the company's commitment to building a culture of safety throughout Arizona. The calendar strategy was to focus entirely on safety, because SCF believes that if safety is a top-of-mind concern, policyholders will develop a mindset to look for workplace hazards and correct them. A calendar is a gift that is kept and lasts for the entire year, which provides a constant reminder that being safe is a way of life, not a choice depending on the situation.
