Award of Merit Lana Cary and Brad Christensen Federal Programs Messenger AMEC
The quarterly Federal Programs Messenger electronic newsletter was developed to answer the tremendous need within engineering firm AMEC for timely information relevant to staff dispersed around the United States and in many parts of the world. To effectively serve the Federal government, AMEC's largest client sector, staff needed to be made aware of a large amount of information. Much of this information is critical to their jobs, including newly awarded contract vehicles, changes in the government's and AMEC's policies, new capabilities and technology and upcoming trade show marketing opportunities. According to a survey conducted last November, Federal Programs Messenger clearly is accomplishing its mission in a visually compelling manner. The survey results revealed that nearly 95 percent of the respondents companywide read Federal Programs Messenger "always" or "sometimes."
