Award of Merit Martz Agency – Alison Collins InterContinental Montelucia Resort and Spa Announcement
Crown Realty and Development is developing the Montelucia Resort, Spa and Residences located in Paradise Valley. Formerly La Posada, Crown has designed a magnificent resort that will feature more than 290 hotel rooms, suites and casitas, a signature restaurant, a 31,000-square-foot spa conceived by renowned spa designer Sylvia Sepielli, unparalleled meeting space, a wedding chapel and more. In 2006, it was decided by the developers that the resort would be operated by InterContinental Hotels Group. This affected all of the targeted audiences, especially the Villa buyers that had invested millions into their future residences at Montelucia. Martz Agency had to develop a community, media and government relations event to announce the change in operators to various audiences simultaneously. It was vital that the messages included the power, experience and luxury of the InterContinental brand, based on its history and resort portfolio. It was imperative to introduce InterContinental to the key Valley influencers, the media and the future Villa residents in a positive light all at the same time.
