Award of Excellence Off Madison Ave Agua Caliente Crisis Communication
Off Madison Ave developed a comprehensive crisis communication preparedness and action plan for the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians that was executed on several occasions in 2006. The plan proved instrumental in helping protect the health and welfare of the tribe and its enterprises. The entry comprised of a plan outline, the comprehensive plan and background research, including a media analysis and several crisis communication tools used to mitigate two major issues the tribe faced at its hotel and casino properties in Palm Springs, Calif.
